Artists You Can’t Miss at Lollapalooza 2025

From someone who lives for concerts and streams them religiously—here’s who I’ll be watching (or crying about missing).

As a forever fangirl of many artists and a concert-goer, allow me to be the one to excite you for Lollapalooza 2025.

A fangirl fever dream is one way to describe the lineup this year. I could go on and on about the abundance of artists that are performing and about how more than half you must see live—it’s like a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Whether you’ll be at barricade, in the back, or streaming exclusively on Hulu, here are seven must-see artists whose sets are guaranteed to make your weekend unforgettable.

Gracie Abrams (Thursday, T-Mobile Stage, 7–8 PM)

A current and forever favorite, Gracie Abrams will be performing on the T-Mobile Stage Thursday the 31st from 7–8 PM. She has become a forever ring-around of music for me, and I’ve grown to love her work from minor all the way to The Secret of Us. Having found her in a Spotify “you might like this” playlist in 2022, I’ve been starstruck and consistently riding on her clouds of dreams since then.

After last night’s show at MSG and her performance of “Mess It Up” with Role Model, I wouldn’t be surprised if they do something together at Lolla. If you’re unfamiliar with her music, a few favorites and recommendations would be “Blowing Smoke,” “21,” and “I Told You Things.”

Tyler, the Creator (Thursday, T-Mobile Stage, 8:45–10 PM)

A known constant, Tyler, the Creator will be performing shortly after Gracie at the T-Mobile Stage from 8:45 to 10 PM, closing off Thursday night. Now, I’m not somebody who listens to Tyler constantly, but whenever I hear his music, I know I’ll sing along and unleash my love for it.

He completely takes over his stage—and he’s not a headliner for no reason. Just know with his new album recently coming out and the love his most recent one, Chromakopia, has received… just be there or be square, guys. If you’re in person, I’d say maybe don’t rush the barricade—but if you do, it will be worth it (speaking as someone’s sister who saw his set at Camp Flog Gnaw).

Role Model (Thursday, Tito’s Stage, 5:45–6:45 PM)

Now somebody I live and breathe for: Role Model. He’ll be performing at the Tito’s Stage Thursday from 5:45 to 6:45 PM, and I’ll be streaming—as someone who is terribly sad she hasn’t seen him since March.

He’s grown so much since Gracie, and as a longtime fan, it’s a blessing to see. If you aren’t too familiar but have heard of him, some favorites of mine are “Slip Fast,” “A Little More Time,” and “Something, Somehow, Someday.” I’d love for him to bring out Gracie (as always), but I’d also die for Sabrina. He is a must-see. I’ll tell you that.

djo (Friday, T-Mobile Stage, 6:40–7:40 PM)

Djo—if you think you don’t know him, you do. He’s performing Friday from 6:40 to 7:40 PM at the T-Mobile Stage. I’ve grown to love his music after his most recent album, The Crux. His music makes you feel something entirely different and honestly? A must-see performance.

You may know his popular song “End of Beginning,” but his other songs—like “Gap Tooth Smile,” “Potion,” and “Charlie’s Garden”—are ones you must stick around for. Just maybe leave a little early if you want to catch Wallows, since they’re on a different stage.

Wallows (Friday, Lake Shore Stage, 7:45–8:45 PM)

Now, my forever favorites—Wallows. I’ll be in my bed watching from Hulu. It’s not the same as being in person, but I need to hear songs like “Deep Dive,” “Learn to Love Again,” and “Uncomfortable” on my screen.

They’re performing Friday from 7:45–8:45 PM at the Lake Shore Stage. If you want a good spot, you’ll have to leave Djo early. But if you’re attending their aftershow, I wouldn’t worry too much. They’re unmissable. I fall in love with their music more and more each time I attend a concert or listen to a new drop.

If you’re unfamiliar, a few favorites of mine are “Uncomfortable,” “Only Ecstasy,” and “These Days.”

Olivia Rodrigo (Friday, T-Mobile Stage, 8:40–10 PM)

A classic, amazing headliner: Olivia Rodrigo. She’s performing Friday night from 8:40 to 10 PM on the T-Mobile Stage. If you don’t want to miss her performance, I’d recommend leaving Wallows a little early.

I’ve fallen in love with her music since HSMTMTS and will forever attend every concert in my hometown that she does. She’s headlining Lolla for the first time, and I know she’ll rule that stage. The set will be to die for. Please bring someone out again, Olivia—haha! You know her music. You must. Just know it’ll be a moment.

Clairo (Saturday, Bud Light Stage, 6:40–7:30 PM)

A amaze artist and a classic: Clairo. She’ll be performing Saturday at the Bud Light Stage from 6:40 to 7:30 PM. She’ll forever be a favorite of mine—all the way back to “Hello?”—and a current fave: “Sexy to Someone.”

Personally, I don’t know too many people performing Saturday, but Clairo? I will definitely be streaming. I can’t wait to see how she does. Wallows bringing out Clairo would be ideal, but since they’re on different days… a girl can dream.

If you’re unfamiliar with her music, trust me—you’ve heard it. I recommend “Bags,” “Sofia,” and “Juna.”

Sabrina Carpenter (Sunday, T-Mobile Stage, 9–10 PM)

Now speaking of Sabrina—she’ll be performing Sunday from 9 to 10 PM on the T-Mobile Stage, and she’s someone you cannot miss. I wouldn’t put it past her to debut a new song from her upcoming album (which drops next month).

I’m loving “manchild” right now, and I still adore classics like “Tornado Warnings” and “Lie to Girls.” She embraces that pop confidence many artists have, but she does it in her own way—and makes you feel like you’re part of the show every time. She’s flawless in her choreography and overall just a must-see.

Final Notes

I’ll be watching over Hulu—so if you are too, same. If you’re attending in person: plan your day, and go to the aftershows! They’ll give you something you can’t get on Hulu.

Be as far back as you’d like or be at the barricade—iconic as always. This festival has a multitude of artists I didn’t mention, but they’re oh-so-worth seeing. Let me know who you’re most excited to see!
